This first-of-its-kind collaboration pairs the artistic vision of TEXTURE, a modern artisanal patisserie, with the culinary finesse and sky-high elegance of Horizon Grill, inviting guests on a multi-sensory journey that transcends tiers and teapots. Structured as a modern tasting menu and inspired by the architecture of unfolding a symphony of sensory layers, TEXTUREs on the Horizon is plated and served à la minute for optimum texture, temperature, and taste.
Guests dine at their own pace in an experience that blends the relaxed luxury of afternoon tea with the narrative depth of a fine dining tasting menu. The specially curated menu includes savoury and sweet bites that would impress every foodie and sweet tooth. Highlights from the menu include the Nordic Garden Tartlet, the Apple Filo pastry and Jasmine Berries Mousse.
Chef Chong Ko Wai, Founder and Creative Director of TEXTURE, spoke about the new afternoon tea experience, saying, “At TEXTURE, we see dessert as emotion — each creation a moment, a memory. With TEXTURE, we wanted to turn the act of tea into an artistic ritual. One that honours flavour, temperature, and story. It’s not just about sweets — it’s about sequencing, surprise, and slowing down.”
Chef Francesco Fedrighi, Executive Sous Chef of Horizon Grill, shared about the collaboration with TEXTURE, saying, “When I first encountered TEXTURE’s work, I saw the same values we hold in our kitchen — respect for ingredients, balance of form and flavour, and a relentless pursuit of elevation. TEXTUREs on the Horizon allowed us to break the mould together. Just creativity on a plate, course by course.”

TEXTUREs on the Horizon is served daily between 3pm and 5pm at Horizon Grill, Level 58, Banyan Tree Kuala Lumpur from 1st May to 31st July 2025.
