Teen actress Puteri Balqis has been through a lot over the years, especially during her childhood. Last year, the child star made a shocking revelation about her father’s sexual abuse and parental negligence. Not long after that, she also received criticisms over her intimate post with her mother.
The 16-year-old has been doing pretty well for herself lately after slowly getting back into acting and making content on her socials. Sadly, it appears that a fellow actress had been talking trash about her behind her back.
Yesterday (Tuesday, 23rd May), Puteri Balqis, fondly known as Aqish, posted a story on her Instagram to let out her frustration about another local star who has been shading her and others behind their backs on social media. The actress wrote, “You’re only 14, which is not that much younger than me, but your attitude is super cringe. You sure have a knack for talking about people behind their backs. What did I even do to you?”.
Without mentioning the name, it is clear that it was another actress as the “Di Sebalik Tirai Kasih” star claimed the unspecified person compared their beauty and considered Aqish’s looks to be inferior to hers. “All you do is show your asshole on video every day and you don’t even have a single acting award. Please, I’d rather not work with someone like you,” she said.
The Asian Television Best Actress Award recipient added that she can’t stand to look at the self-obsessed 14-year-old public figure. The aforementioned person apparently has a habit of flipping her hair (pretending to be a hair model) and enjoys showing off her boyfriend online. “I don’t want to be involved in this drama. My anti-depressants are already running low because of this,” she ended her post.
At the time of writing, Puteri Balqis has yet to update her story about the local actress but since she doesn’t want to have anything to do with her, it’s highly unlikely she’ll bring up the subject again to avoid this from escalating. So far, no other celebs or influencers have come forward to respond to her statement.
