Puteri Balqis or better known as Aqish, is most recently known for her deeply emotional story. She is also one of the most talented child actresses in Malaysia, appearing in several works such as “Dania”, “Pencipta Pegang Waktu” and much more. Fun fact – she was also known as the child actor that managed to overcome lung cancer!
Growing up famous, she is probably used to being in the public eye, but of course, fame also comes with a heavy price. This time, the young actress has once again attracted the attention of the masses for her recent IG posts.
Just recently, the “Andainya Takdir” actress caught the attention of the public when she recently posted a photo of her and her young mother, Norashikin Mohd Aziz. The series of photos reveal the intimate side of the mother-daughter relationship with lots of kisses and hand-holding.
According to Murai, many have misinterpreted this affection into something twisted – calling them “lesbians”. After the post gained popularity, the 15-year-old took the initiative to remove the comments section, not leaving any chance for the public to comment anything further.
The child star then retaliated through an Instagram Story saying, “I deserve to love my mother who is despised, ridiculed, and criticised by people like you every day. May my mother, who was insulted for having tattoos, who loved and taught me about the painful meaning of life, be blessed with the highest heaven for her perseverance,“.
In other news, the Malaysian child actress was also praised by netizens for turning down inappropriate product review offers. Some of the reviews include breast and butt enlargement products, which is highly unfitting for a 15-year-old girl.
The young celeb also apologised for having to decline other reviews as well because she deemed them not suitable for her. Through an Instagram Story, Aqish said that she cannot arbitrarily take other products due to heavy use of prescribed medication like anti-depressants and sleeping pills. The mature decision to decline those offers brought praise upon praise for her.
Some comments said that she is right for not doing anything that will add to her anxiety. Many comments also criticised the company that tried to recruit the young star. Others believe that teenagers like her are more suitable for advertisements for Baskin-Robbin, Tiger biscuits, or even Asadi slippers instead.
