Local media are still buzzing about the scandal surrounding actress Ruhainies and actor Aliff Aziz. Last weekend, Ruhainies and Aliff Aziz were allegedly caught in close proximity (khalwat), leading to tons of speculations regarding their relationship. Also caught up in the ordeal is Aliff’s wife and Ruhainies close friend, Bella Astillah.
Despite being hounded by the media and being the target of criticism, Ruhainies has remained calm throughout the ordeal, emphasising her innocence. Previously, the 31-year-old mentioned that the reports on the issue were exaggerated and untrue. She also denies any intimate relationship with Aliff, saying they are merely close friends. However, many continued to vilify her for allegedly being the third person in her friends’ marriage.
Recently, the actress shared two posts on her Instagram Stories, which seemed to respond to all the hate comments in the past few days. One of the posts was about the consequences of spreading rumours in Islam with a quote from an Islamic scholar. The post talks about how those spreading rumours would receive retribution or an equivalent degree. The other post was about how God would protect His followers and their shame (aib).
At the same time, a TikTok video featuring Bella Astillah went viral as it seemed to align with what is currently happening. The video, shared by Inayah Beauty Trading, shows the actress explaining her role in an undisclosed production. In the video, Bella talks about playing a mistress in a love triangle after “always being cheated on” before continuing to share about her role. She also said, “There’s a lot of cheaters these days, (I’m) afraid.”
While the actress seemed to be speaking about her role, many netizens couldn’t help but tie her words to what is happening to her in real life. Many felt sympathetic, hoping Bella would stay strong during this trying time. Her words also led many to slam her husband, Aliff, for his repeated infidelity towards his wife.
There are also several others who suggest that Aliff and Ruhainies were intentionally creating a gimmick to create hype on their project together. After all, it’s a known tactic that many local celebrities resort to in order to create free publicity. What are your thoughts about these posts?
