Ever since actress-singer Bella Astillah and politician Syed Saddiq collaborated as models for fashion brand Primavalet earlier this year, rumours of a romantic relationship between the pair have been a hot topic among fans. Many are convinced they are an item, citing the amount of time they spend together outside of work as well as the occasional (and sometimes not-so-subtle) romantic gestures.
Although they have not been making much effort to keep their relationship under wraps recently, the two stars have never explicitly confirmed they are dating. However, during a recent livestream, they may have fuelled the rumours when they posed to each other the very question everyone else has been asking. Here’s the story:
Over the weekend, Syed Saddiq hosted a TikTok livestream with Bella Astillah. At one point during the broadcast, the starlet turned the camera towards the politician to tease him, asking if he was single. Surprisingly, he admitted he was “unavailable” before directing the question back to the actress. She replied: “No, I’m not single. Are you happy?”. The Member of Parliament was then visibly flustered by her response.
Although the two public figures did not specify who they were dating, that moment during the livestream instantly went viral among fans, many of whom took it as a confession that they are a couple. Some urged Bella Astillah and Syed Saddiq to stop playing charades and get married, while others remarked on how adorable the pair were when teasing each other, particularly the politician’s reaction to Bella’s answer about her relationship status.
It is true that Bella and Syed Saddiq have never explicitly referred to each other as boyfriend and girlfriend, nor have they openly discussed their relationship. However, their jokes, teasing, and even winning the Anugerah Melodi award for Hottest Celebrity Couple are, to many, proof enough that they hold a very important place in each other’s lives.
