Are you a fan of comedy and action? Then you’re gonna love “The Hitman’s Bodyguard” starring Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson.
Directed by Australian filmmaker Patrick Hughes, whose works include “The Expendables 3”, the forthcoming Lionsgate movie was written by Tom O’Connor.
In the film, the world’s top protection agent (played by Ryan Reynolds) is tasked to guard the life of his mortal enemy and one of the world’s most notorious hitmen (played by Samuel L. Jackson). The relentless bodyguard and manipulative assassin have been on the opposite end of the bullet for years and are thrown together for a wildly outrageous 24 hours.
During their raucous and hilarious adventure from England to the Hague, they encounter high-speed car chases, outlandish boat escapades and a merciless Eastern European dictator (played by Gary Oldman) who is out for blood. “The Hitman’s Bodyguard” also stars Salma Hayek (of “Frida” fame) as the hitman’s equally notorious wife.
The latest red band trailer features some action-packed moments, hilarious banter between the 2 leads, and a clever use of Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You” in the background.
