A marriage is an unionisation between two people who love each other. And this process is one of the most exciting journeys in many people’s lives. So, it’s not surprising to see celebrities tying the knot with a fellow celeb or with someone who is not in the entertainment business. After all, they are human like us.

1. Heliza Helmi & Dato Sri Mahadi
Early this year, 36-year-old Malaysian singer Heliza Helmi became the wife of 39-year-old wealthy businessman Dato Sri Mahadi Badrul Zaman. The couple tied the knot at the Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Mosque in Putrajaya on the first day of the new year – 1st January 2022. Heliza legally became Mahadi’s wife by receiving a dowry in the form of a ring and a copy of the Quran.
2. Zulin Aziz & Farhan Norzaini
In February, 33-year-old Malaysian actress Zulin Aziz tied the knot with her business partner, 35-year-old Farhan Norzaini. After almost a month of being engaged to each other, the couple finally got married at the National Mosque. As for her dowry, Zulin, or her real name, Farah Azleenda Abdul Aziz received a sum amounting to a whopping RM30,000.
3. Wany Hasrita & Adib Fahmi
On 22nd July of this year, the well-known 30-year-old singer Wany Hasrita got married to Al Adib Fahmi, a pilot in the field of aviation working in Kuching, Sarawak. The marriage process was completed by her own father, Hasbullah Hassan, at the Al Mukarramah Mosque in Petaling. The cute couple has been seeing each other since 2019 and is now officially married!
4. Sweet Qismina & Adam Lee
Just recently, 25-year-old Malaysian actress Sweet Qismina was wed to another Malaysian actor, 28-year-old Adam Lee. After six months of their engagement, they finally got married on 24th of October this year which is coincidentally Sweet Qismina’s birthday as well. Being officiated by Sweet’s brother, the two wed at the Darul Ehsan Taman Tun Abdul Razak Mosque in Gombak.
5. Najwa Latif & Akwa Arifin
On 11th November, the 27-year-old “Cinta Muka Buku” singer Najwa Latif was officially wed to Malaysian rapper Akwa Arifin. Just like the singer, the wedding ceremony was held in private in Batu Pahat, Johor with only family members and close friends in attendance. Najwa Latif also accepted 2.5 grams of gold from Akwa as a form of dowry.
6. Syifa Melvin & Safawi Rasid
Many fans were happy for Malaysian actress 28-year-old Syifa Melvin became the wife of 25-year-old professional JDT footballer Safawi Rasid. Safawi or his real name Muhammad Safawi Rasid, gave a dowry in the form of a diamond ring to Syifa. The ceremony was held at a prestigious hotel on the 28th of November with almost 300 or more guests in attendance.
