In this day and age, we believe it’s completely up to everyone, especially women, to have all the rights to decide when they want to get married, if they intend to get married, or if they even have plans to have kids at all. What’s not okay is the fact that some people persist in insensitively asking these questions simply because it’s part of the social norm.
Recently, a video taken from local celeb Zulin Aziz’s previous live broadcast went viral on TikTok. During the session, Zulin spoke up about receiving insensitive questions left by some of her fans on social media. Apparently, many have been utterly curious as to when she is planning on getting pregnant, given that she has been married for seven months.

“I just had a miscarriage, and people have been asking when will I have a baby? Do you feel like slapping them in the face? I just had a miscarriage last month, you know, be patient! So, if you want to ask a question, even if we don’t know, avoid asking sensitive questions,” the 33-year-old said in the viral clip. “Even back when I was single, people asked me when I am going to get married. I responded by saying, ‘Later when I get married to your husband then you’ll know.”
As the video went viral, many took to the comments section to share their take on the matter. Most netizens revealed that they had also gone through the same situation as well. “At first, it really hurts me when people kept on asking (when will I get pregnant). After a long time, I become lazy to entertain them. I just responded by saying, God willing (my time will come),” one netizen shared.
