One of the challenges in planning a holiday abroad is finding a hotel that best suits both your needs and budget. With so many options to choose from, which would be the better choice? If you’re a Muslim and planning a trip to Taiwan, perhaps we can help you in finding you a hotel you could stay in.

Previously, we shared some Muslim-friendly eateries for you to dine at and recommended our favourite tourist spots for you to visit. Obviously, you’ll need a place to stay, so if you’re planning to check out any of the places from our Taiwan listicles, here are the hotels you should check into.

1. Sheraton Taoyuan Hotel

Sheraton Taoyuan Hotel is recognised for its Muslim-friendly facilities, including prayer mats and Qibla direction indicators in guest rooms. A standout feature of the hotel is the stunning pyramid-shaped Crystal Glass Church, which offers great photo opportunities for visitors. Not only that, but its restaurant, You Chu, serves Muslim-friendly cross-border cuisine, with its name inspired by the U-shaped horseshoe design above the bar.

Although we didn’t spend much time at this hotel, we did manage to go exploring and to our delight, we found a gaming area with a pool table and some arcade games for kids to play. The space is also located next to the gym and indoor pool so if your kids don’t want to splash in the water with you, at least there’s a place for them to enjoy themselves.

Address: No. 777號, Daguan Rd, Dayuan District, Taoyuan City, Taiwan

2. Tai-yi Red Maple Resort

Out of the hotels we’ve stayed, this one is a personal favourite. Tai-yi Red Maple Resort is a four-star holiday resort that boasts a 40,000 ping garden with seven themed ecological areas. Guests can explore beautiful flower fields, vast lawns, and a fish pond for feeding. The restaurant serves seasonal, health-focused meals that are also Muslim-friendly, and believe us when we say that the dinner served was absolutely divine.

Another key feature of the resort is the private onsen in some of the guest rooms. After a long day of activities, you’ll definitely want to soak in the hot water. For a more relaxing and enjoyable bathing experience, we personally recommend you bring along a bath bomb so let go of all your stress and worries.

Address: No. 176號, Section 1, Zhongshan Rd, Puli Township, Nantou County, Taiwan

3. Caesar Metro Hotel

Located in Gemini Tower near Wanhua Railway Station, Caesar Metro Taipei offers a superior stay experience with a fitness centre, outdoor pool, and attractions nearby. The hotel is just a few minutes walk from the train station where you can easily make your way to the famous Ximending Shopping District. Not only that, but the hotel also offers halal food service. All snacks and drinks in the room’s mini-bar are halal and the restaurant serves halal breakfast.

Address: No. 167, Bangka Blvd, Wanhua District, Taipei City, Taiwan
