As the end of the year approaches, many celebrities take time out of their busy schedules to send their seasonal greetings to their adoring fans. In her Christmas greetings, BLACKPINK’s (블랙핑크) Jennie (제니) thanked her Rubies for a great year and teased some exciting releases for 2025.
The “Mantra” singer recently shared a special holiday message and a festive digital card through her official website. Jennie expressed gratitude and love for her fans, writing, “Dear… Thank you for making this year so special. As this year comes to an end, I want to take a moment to say that I am so grateful for your unconditional love, support, and encouragement. You’ve been the reason for so many unforgettable memories, and I will cherish every little moment we had together this year.”

However, the highlight of the heartfelt message was the star sharing an update on her highly-anticipated solo album. As shown in the message, Jennie wrote, “My album is finally coming along and I can’t wait to share it with you guys soon”. The 28-year-old then ended the letter with, “Wishing you a beautiful holiday season with all my love,” before signing off with a simple “J”. Unsurprisingly, fans went into a frenzy after Jennie’s simple revelation and began sharing their excitement on social media.
The BLACKPINK member had a pretty sweet 2024 with her single “Mantra” – her first release since establishing her label, ODD Atelier. Since then, many fans have looked forward to the singer’s full-length album, hoping to hear more solo music from the star. She also had a few collaborations in the past year, most notably with rapper ZICO (지코) for the chart-topping track, “Spot!”. The project won “Best Collaboration” and “Best Rap & Hip Hop Performance” at the recent Mnet Asian Music Awards 2024, adding to its accolades.

Unfortunately, there are no details about the album or an exact release date – but it should be available sometime in early 2025. In the meantime, BLACKPINK is also allegedly going on tour next year, meaning Jennie has yet another busy year ahead of her.
