Earlier this year, former rapper-singer Mizz Nina had quite the scare after her adopted son Musa was allegedly taken from her by her ex-husband Noh Salleh of Hujan without her permission or knowledge. There weren’t any updates on that particular case but the retired performer now has another thing to worry about.
It was reported that the 43-year-old had unjustly let go of her personal assistant Nur Haniza Mohd Azhar of 11 years without a reason. Through an interview with mStar, the assistant shared more details about her plans to sue the mother-of-one for her unfair treatment. Here’s what happened:

Mohamad Nasruddin Ab Rahman, the lawyer representing the former employee told the news outlet that his client had received a termination letter from Mizz Nina in March but has yet to receive her last salary and compensation that was promised in the letter. It was said that the ex-assistant’s former employer should’ve given her the compensation before 30th April but unfortunately, she has not received anything to this day.
Apart from that, it was alleged that the “What You Waiting For” artist had never given her ex-assistant a proper employment contract nor had she provided an increment in her salary or any bonuses over the years. Despite the lack of legal employment documentation, Nur Haniza, who was paid only RM3.5k a month, still decided to take legal action against her former employer because of the delayed salary and compensation.
“The lawsuit can still be done cause the two previously had work relationships. They also had a discussion about extending her employment but my client did not agree with any of the terms as she felt like it was very one-sided,” the lawyer added. Apart from the lawsuit, Nur Haniza will also be filing a complaint at the Jabatan Perhubungan Perusahaan Malaysia (Malaysian Industrial Relations Department)(JPP).

Meanwhile, Mizz Nina is currently out of the country so the case will proceed with a date set by JPP once she returns to Malaysia. The entrepreneur has yet to give her comment regarding her former assistant’s allegations. Do you think Mizz Nina is the kind to just drop her workers without any reason?
