Lately, there’s been stories and reports of people attacking local authorities after they were asked to cooperate. Previously, a woman smacked police officers with a sunshade after she was caught being aggressive toward university students.
Rather than listening to the security guard’s advice, this woman started acting violently toward him, much to the other customers’ shock. Here’s what happened:
Yesterday (Monday, 7th August), a (now-deleted) video was posted on TikTok that showed a woman attacking a security guard at a Mydin supermarket in Klang. According to local reports, the woman, who is believed to be mentally challenged, got angry at the security guard after he told her to not leave her children behind by themselves at the premise.
In the video posted, the woman can be seen throwing her pink slippers at the guard after he told her off. She then backed away while screaming when the officer slowly approached her. The Mydin employee then went inside while the woman continued to scream outside the supermarket.
North Klang District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner S. Vijaya Rao told reporters that the Department of Social Welfare Malaysia (JKM) has filed a police report regarding the incident. It was said that the unidentified woman along with her two children were safely taken into custody.
According to Kosmo, the woman has been taken to Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital to get a proper diagnosis of her mental condition. The case is currently being classified as Refer To Other Agencies (RLA) under JKM.
At the time of writing, there have been no updates on the woman’s current condition or who is currently taking care of her kids. We sure hope that the family is doing fine, especially the children. Watch the full video of the incident below:
