Desperate people will do anything to escape the consequences of their actions. Previously, a driver tried to drive away from the police after being caught committing a traffic violation. This week, a woman was caught acting violently against students at a local university before police showed up to intervene but it didn’t stop there.
Yesterday (Thursday, 3rd August), students of Tunku Abdul Rahman University (UTAR) anonymously posted several videos and stories on the UTAR Confessions 2022/2023 Facebook page about an incident that happened at the Sungai Long campus in Selangor.

In the video posted above, a woman can be seen approaching a group of students conducting a street interview asking to borrow one of their phones to call her daughter. Apparently, her car was clamped on the campus for illegal parking. The students explained that they were unable to lend her their phones as they were using them for the project.
Irritated that her request was declined, the woman suddenly grabbed the phones from one of the students’ hands and threw them on the road. Things escalated rather quickly after local authorities came down to investigate the incident but the woman refused to cooperate and locked herself in her clamped car.
Another video was posted that showed the woman refusing to leave her car and throwing a sock at the police officers. At one point, the offender got even more aggressive when she removed her car’s sunshade to smack the police with it. The final video showed the perpetrator successfully apprehended by police and taken to a nearby building before being escorted to the police station.
According to the anonymous submissions on the Facebook page, the woman is allegedly a repeat offender, having never paid her summons. At the time of writing, there has been no update from the UTAR Confession page other than memes of the incident. Both police and the university have yet to release a statement regarding the case.
We sure hope that appropriate actions will be taken against the woman and that the victims will be compensated for their damaged devices.
