It’s easier said than done, but we gotchu!
Shakespeare’s well-known relationship prognosis is well known to all. But, contrary to what Bill claimed all those years ago, is it truly better to have “loved and lost”? The fact is that every breakup is unique. If you’ve experienced a few, you are aware that the pain can range from brief melancholy to desperate feelings. Although you cherish the years or months you spent with your boo, you simply have to move on, as difficult as that may be. We know it’s not as simple as stating it, but if he or she can survive without you, then you can too.
We firmly believe that everything happens for the best. And all you need to do to get your groove back is to change and adapt. In light of that, here is a list of actions you should take to recover from a traumatic breakup.
Everything Goes To The Trash
Throw away everything that makes you think of your ex-partner right away. We don’t care if it’s a teddy bear, a ring, or even a picture – why save those memories if that person is no longer in your life and you obviously want nothing to do with them? Sure, the exception might be one memento from that relationship that makes you pleased – if you are truly sentimental. But only one; the rest are to be thrown away. You have no justification for keeping memories of your ex, especially if he/she treated you horribly. You don’t need to be made conscious of a traumatic past.
An Extreme Makeover
Going through a breakup doesn’t mean you need to put on your saddest and most pitiful look. You should actually be getting an extreme makeover. If your ex thought highly of your long hair, chop it off. Go get your hair redone if your ex thought you looked best with a particular hair colour. You can change every aspect of your appearance that initially attracted your ex, which will give you a fresh take on life for a start.
Don’t take this out of context, please. We’re not advising you to give up who you really are and change into someone else. You can change your appearance and personality to become someone better, which is the key idea here. Get a makeover so you can feel satisfied with the person you have been so far. Changing your hairstyle and makeup may make a big difference. You’ll learn to appreciate yourself via this transition.
Travelling
Stop crying, pack your bags and go for a vacay!
It might be challenging to be around things or people who bring back bad memories of your ex, especially if you’re still in the post-breakup stage. You should, for the time being, avoid EVERYTHING that makes you think about them. And the environment has a significant impact on that. Spend a few days away from your hectic routine. Travelling enables you to decompress and let go of any unpleasant memories of your former relationship. If you can travel with your family or friends, that’s even better.
Level Up Your Standards
You are not the same person you were a few months ago. You’re making fresh discoveries about yourself and moving towards healing. It’s time to raise your standards and degree of class. So you previously fell for a piece of crap out of error. From this point on, you can decide to raise your standards for a potential partner.
To become a classier and more refined person, you may even try to change your conduct and character development. Each of us has an ideal mate that we hope they will be. So, one piece of advice we have for you is to never accept less. The best is what you deserve.
Work Out
The secret to getting over a breakup is to discover your own confidence. Exercise is particularly beneficial in this situation. Make an exercise schedule for yourself; it’s not required that you follow it every day. You would benefit much from focusing on yourself and your change twice or three times per week. Additionally, if you dislike travelling to the gym and are a gym-conscious person, you can choose to exercise in the convenience of your bedroom.
Work on the areas of your body that you want to emphasise more. For instance, target your thighs, booty, and possibly your abs and curves. Work to become the best form possible so that your ex is aware that they have just lost a tasty treat. However, even though moving on is your major objective, you also want to make your ex regret their actions.
Get A New Style
Crucial!
Finding your new style is part of an extreme makeover, since, as we previously stated, you are no longer that junk. If you previously preferred donning unattractive garments and baggy clothing, CHANGE THAT! Look for clothing that highlights your contours and elegantly frames your silhouette. Why conceal such a remarkable figure? Show off your physique since you are about to become a snack that attracts other men or women.
Ditch Your Ex’s Friends
We are aware that this may not be the case for everyone, but we believe it is crucial to get rid of the people that serve as reminders of the person who broke your heart. Brutal, we admit. But maintaining ties to your ex’s buddies might be painful. In the end, they aren’t truly your pals, and you can never be sure if they aren’t talking about you behind your back. Therefore, you have no business maintaining contact with those who were never even your pals. You will start to actually appreciate life once you toss the entire hoard away since the air will feel much lighter around you.
Don’t Jump Into A New Relationship Just Yet
Just hold your horses!
We don’t believe it’s appropriate for you to start dating someone else, while you’re still getting over your breakup. Yes, it’s a wonderful idea to meet new people, but instead of wasting time seeking someone else, you might use that time to make an investment in yourself. Your heart might be prepared to open up to someone else after you are content with your life and with yourself.
