Most people usually have fun exploring various positions for sex. But, like everything else, sex positions are all fun and games until somebody gets hurt. Or in the case of this particular Indonesian man, getting his penis broken.
Sex is usually a fun-time, pleasurable activity for most. As many will know, there are various sex positions for people to enjoy. However, as it turns out, there are some sex positions which have a high risk of injury. This couple discovered it when a steamy session ended with a broken penis.
A 37-year-old man and his partner were getting it on in the bedroom when their sexy session ended very badly. The couple had apparently been doing it in the “reverse cowgirl” position where the woman is on top, facing away from her partner. As they were mid-session, they suddenly heard a loud cracking sound.
The man immediately felt excruciating pain and lost his erection. He also noted that he was bleeding from the tip of his penis and was unable to urinate. Panicked, he quickly went to the hospital for help. His penis had reportedly turned deep purple and was swollen, a condition which medical practitioners apparently refer to as an “eggplant deformity”.
It was later discovered that he had “fractured” his penis, that is he tore the tissue involved in its erection, and that the penile tissue had also ruptured. He’s also suffered a severe hematoma, injury to the wall of the blood vessel. Thankfully, doctors were able to repair the fracture and he was reportedly healed after several weeks.
A study of the case was recently published in the journal Urology Case Reports, according to the New York Post. Such fractures reportedly often occur when the erect penis buckles after hitting the “pubic bone firmly during vigorous sexual activity”.
Dr. Karan Raj claims that “reverse cowgirl” is the “world’s most dangerous” sex position. We aren’t a 100% certain of that, but the pain certainly does not seem worth the pleasure!
