Gigi Hadid’s Spicy Vodka Pasta
Gigi Hadid shook the internet last year when she posted on her Instagram story, showing her followers how she makes her Spicy Vodka Pasta. Fun fact: She posted the story of herself cooking the pasta in an attempt to deflect from the surprising news that she was pregnant with her first child! Here’s how to make the Spicy Vodka Pasta (we would add more than 1 tablespoon though, times are tough).
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 small clove of garlic, diced
- 1/4 green onion
- 1/4 cup tomato paste
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon vodka
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 225 grams of shell pasta
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
- Basil, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
In a large saucepan, heat up the olive oil, garlic and onion. Cook until soft. Add tomato paste and cook until it appears caramelised (darker in colour). Then, add heavy cream, followed by vodka and cook through until evaporated. Throw in some red pepper flakes depending on how spicy you want your pasta to be. Season with salt and pepper.
Cook the pasta separately. Gigi uses shell pasta, but you can choose whichever kind you like. Once pasta is done, save 1/4 of the pasta before draining. Add in the butter to the sauce and stir over medium heat until the butter has melted and the sauce is “sauccyyyy”, as Gigi describes it. Then add the pasta and the pasta water to the sauce, and stir. Top it off with some parmesan cheese and basil leaves.
Kylie Jenner’s Shrimp Taco

- 2 pounds of fresh shrimp
- 4 cups of diced organic onions
- 2 cups of shredded Mexican cheese

- 2 cups of chopped organic cilantro
- Sour cream
- 4 cups diced organic tomatoes
- Old Bay seasoning
- Onion powder
- White corn tortillas
- 2 tbsp. olive oil
- Fresh salsa
- Canola oil
Firstly, cut, peel, and de-vein the shrimp. Place the shrimp in a perforated bowl and wash with cold water. Cut shrimp into 1 inch pieces. Season the shrimp with old bay seasoning and onion powder over the shrimps and let sit. Heat up the skillet with olive oil on medium-low and then add half of the chopped onion, cube cut tomatoes and cilantro for 1-2 minutes. Add in the shrimp and cook for 5-7 minutes until the shrimp turn golden.
Then, heat up oil in another skillet and fry the corn tortillas. Once they become soft, gently fold them to make a taco shell. Once the tortillas are done frying, drain the excess oil with a paper towel. Mash up the avocado after cutting it in half and scooping out the flesh. Add in your onion powder, lime, green onions, avocado, salsa, and salt in a mixing bowl. Mix well until combined. Lastly, fill the taco shells with guacamole, shrimp, and sour cream topped with Mexican cheese, and your tacos are ready to be served!
