Kylie Jenner is stepping further into the acting world, and her next project is nothing like what fans might expect! The beauty mogul is set to star in and produce an upcoming thriller series, tentatively titled Bachelorette Weekend, which is currently being developed for Hulu.
Following her acting debut in Charlie xcx’s mockumentary The Moment, Kylie is now preparing to take on a darker role in a murder mystery that turns a fun pre-wedding getaway into a nightmare.
And there’s another familiar name involved in the project: her older sister Kim Kardashian.
A Bachelorette Party That Takes a Deadly Turn
Bachelorette Weekend follows a group of friends who come together to celebrate a bride-to-be before her wedding. However, what begins as an exciting girl’s getaway quickly turns into a murder mystery.
Kylie will play the bride-to-be, who is found dead in a swimming pool during the trip. With the killer still unknown, every bridesmaid becomes a potential suspect.

Although Kylie’s character is the murder victim, her death will be at the centre of the story, driving the mystery as the truth slowly unfolds.
The series is based on an unpublished novel by Flora Collins, with screenwriter Lauren Oliver adapting the story for television. The project is also being developed by Aaron Kaplan’s production company, Kapital Entertainment.
From Beauty Mogul To Actress
While Kylie is best known for her beauty empire and reality television appearances, she has recently shown a growing interest in acting.
Earlier this year, she made her acting debut in Charli xcx’s mockumentary The Moment, appearing in a short three-minute cameo.
In the film, Kylie played an exaggerated version of herself, portraying a wealthy and carefree billionaire opposite Charli’s more insecure pop-star character. Despite the brief appearance, her performance received positive attention.
Kylie has also hinted at her interest in taking more acting projects, sharing photos of herself holding scripts and previously telling Vanity Fair that she was fully interested in exploring acting further.
Now, Bachelorette Weekend could mark her first major scripted television role.
Kim Kardashian Is Joining the Project Too
Kylie won’t be working on the series alone. Her older sister, Kim is attached as an executive producer alongside Kylie.
However, Kim is not currently expected to appear on-screen.

The SKIMS founder has also been building her own career in scripted television, starring in and executive producing Ryan Murphy’s legal drama All’s Fair, which is set to return for its second season in November.
With both sisters exploring opportunities beyond reality television, Bachelorette Weekend will bring them together behind the scenes for a new kind of project.
When will Bachelorette Weekend Be Released?
For now, fans will have to wait a little longer before seeing Kylie in her thriller era.
The series is still finalizing its streaming deal with Hulu, and filming has not yet begun. The remaining cast members have also not been announced and there is currently no confirmed release date.
Still, with a murder mystery, a group of suspicious bridesmaids and two Kardashian-Jenner sisters involved in production, Bachelorette Weekend is already shaping up to be an interesting addition to Kylie’s growing acting career.
