Real Or Fake? Man Found Gold Jewellery In Noodles Bought From Ramadan Bazaar

One of the risks of ordering or buying food outside is that you may find something unexpected in your dish. We’re not trying to instill paranoia but these things have happened before like that time a customer found frog eggs in her pack of nasi lemak.

Prior to that, there was also the time when a customer was horrified to discover a rat’s head in his nasi kukus dish. However, sometimes the things you might find in your food may not be all that bad cause this man quite literally struck gold when he discovered something in the dish he bought.

Over the weekend, Facebook user Andy Tan posted on his profile to share with his friends and followers that he discovered a gold necklace in his fried noodle dish that he bought at the Ramadan bazaar. “No wonder food at the bazaars is so expensive now, they come with gold as well apparently 😂,” he captioned the post. As seen in the photo above, the necklace blended really well with the golden-coloured noodles.

The posts garnered some attention from netizens who then asked the man exactly which stall he bought his food from as they too would like to try their luck in finding said “treasure”. Some commented that he’s very fortunate to have found something valuable in the food that he ordered while others suggested that food establishments should take this opportunity to claim the item or take credit as it would be good publicity for their business.

The very next day, Andy struck gold once again when he found a gold ring in his Cucur Udang. If any of you have the suspicion that the man was just pulling everyone’s leg then you’re probably right. Although the netizen did not explicitly mention it, we can assume the whole thing was a joke as the gold necklace post was posted on the 1st of April which was April Fool’s Day.

So was Andy actually the luckiest man alive or were the posts just a prank? Regardless, we certainly would not mind finding valuable goods in our dishes. May we all get ‘lucky’ as this man.
