The feud between Chef Wan and his now-former daughter-in-law Shikin Maembong had been going on for months now. In a more recent update, it was revealed that the latter had decided to withdraw the RM1mil suit against the famous figure.
At the same time, Shikin, who was previously married to Chef Wan’s son Chef Riz, also shared her plans to meet her then-father-in-law, in hopes of clearing the air. That being said, Chef Wan insisted that he just wants to move on from all the drama.

In a long post shared on his Instagram, Chef Wan shared that he received a text from his second child, actress Serina Redzuawan. She told Chef Wan about Shikin’s plans to meet him. In response to that, Chef Wan said that he has already forgiven Shikin for what she had done in the past. He explained, “I don’t want to see her, or even want to listen to all this drama involving my kids and my in-laws. I’m sorry I have to decline.”
In the same post, the “Lurah Dendam” actor wrote, “I’m tired of having to deal with everyone’s shit all these years. Just give my remaining years in life some space for me. I have sacrificed enough for a lot of people in my life. What I got back is often a huge embarrassment. I had to carry the responsibility of other people.”
“Have a bit of sympathy that I too have a life to deal with. There is so much on my plate right now, and I don’t deserve to go through all this bullshit! A lot of people also have used and abused my trust,” he added in his lengthy post, before concluding, “The damage is all done. I cannot take it anymore. Just close the chapter! If she wants to file a lawsuit, or pull out, it is entirely her choice. I’m always here to stand on my good principals. Just leave me alone!”

In related news, the culinary icon took to his IG to disclose the details on how he was scammed by a local landscape company. According to Chef Wan, the landscape company responsible for planting trees in his yard had lied to him about the number of saplings that were planted on his yard.
Much to the dismay of the man himself, the female landscape designer, which he refers to as Sara, had apparently double-charged the price of the number of trees planted. “She under estimated a busy man like me would take my precious time to go and count all this bloody plants! Yes in the begining I have no intention. It was all about trust,” he revealed in his post.
Chef Wan further added, “But after what I saw that she has taken 300 plants back to her office and she herself admitted it in front of all her workers, I thought to myself, “Do not pay her the balance. Chef Wan will go and count all the plants first physically.” After they completed counting the plants, it was then found that the company didn’t stick to the initial amount of plants as stated in the proposal.
In his subsequent post, the 64-year-old continued to put the individual on blast for her treacherous act in scamming people. He then said, “I want you to give me a fresh invoice of the real cost of the plants, a reduction in the painting of my Pergola and adjustment for all the plants that u have removed from the roof top garden and main entrance. Refund back all my money within next five days, or I will go to the police and lodge a proper report and engage a lawyer to sue you for all the stress and embarrassment you have cost me.”
