Dato’ Fazley Yaakob and his wife, Datin Azrene Ahmad, recently celebrated their 14th wedding anniversary, for which he posted a video on Instagram.
The celebrity chef shared some insight into their life throughout their marriage, especially the bumps they’ve faced along the way.
The 42-year-old took to his Instagram, @fazleyyaakob, to upload the anniversary tribute video, which is made up of throwback photos of the couple together, along with photos of their children. In the posting, Fazley mentioned that he and his wife experienced a lot of downs throughout their marriage, but they managed to stay together and keep the household afloat.
The celebrity chef stated, “It’s not easy to maintain a marriage that’s still maturing, not to mention maintaining a household that was built 14 years ago. May our faith grow stronger, our pillars of religion become more and more intact, and our 4 children grow up with proper knowledge of the world and the hereafter, always.”
“Thank you for your sacrifice ‘adik sayang’ @azrene_ahmad all this time. I am who I am today because of you. You became my wife when we barely had enough, but Allah kept giving me love and affection. Let us be poor in wealth, but remain rich in love and affection,” he stated. Fazley summed up his words by saying, “Happy 14th anniversary to us and to our romance that is reaching the 16th year mark.”
