A few days ago, Pestle & Mortar Clothing teased with a picture of Bugs Bunny holding an eaten carrot with the caption, “Seems like we have a friend who has dug up a hole in Kuala Lumpur“.

The streetwear brand later confirmed that the collaboration with Looney Tunes will debut this Friday (23rd October). The collection includes 18 different pieces ranging from tees, shirts, outerwear, face masks, and accessories.

All you fashionistas and Looney Tunes fans can expect the collection to feature the iconic cartoon characters such as Bugs Bunny, Sylvester the Cat, Tweety Bird, Daffy Duck, and more. To quote the brand, Pestle & Mortar Clothing’s collab with Looney Tunes symbolises two worlds and two cultures colliding.

Lead Creative, Pestle & Mortar Clothing, Jack Gan said, “Some of us who grew up in the 90’s will never forget waking up early on a Sunday just so we could tune in to Looney Tunes. The collection not only pays tribute to the characters of Looney Tunes but also combines that with our local culture and heritage.”

This collaboration with the Looney Tunes franchise is special because of the significance it has played throughout many of our childhoods. We hope through the collection it brings elements of nostalgia, culture and lifestyle,” added Co-Founder & Chief Vision Officer, Pestle & Mortar Clothing, Hugh Koh.
