Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (formerly known as SYABAS) has been urging utility users to switch from paper bills to e-billing since last year.
In an effort to be more environmentally friendly, customers can now opt to receive their monthly bill through Whatsapp. It’s not only fast and easy, you can now settle your water bills seamlessly online.
The Whatsapp e-billing service is only available to those living in Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, and Putrajaya for the time being. Users are adviced to make sure that mobile number is accurate and is able to receive texts on the app.
To begin, you are required to register or update your personal information on the Air Selangor’s website here. Besides Whatsapp, you can also access the e-billing service via email or its app on both Android and iOS devices.
In case you didn’t know, if your household income is below RM4000, you may register to enjoy the free water scheme.
