After months of anticipation, CUBE Entertainment’s new idol boy group, PENTAGON (펜타곤) has finally made their debut.
The group, made up of 10 members – Hui, Yeo One, Hongseok, Kino, Wooseok, Jinho, Yuto, E’Dawn, Yan An, and Shinwon – showcased their vocal chops and impressive choreography in their first music video, “Gorilla”. It was also the perfect opportunity for the boys to don various styles of clothing (minimal and white, street and hip hop) and display some serious swag.
In case you didn’t know, the final 7 members of PENTAGON were chosen through an online survival reality show called “PENTAGON Maker”. Some of them were former trainees of other major entertainment agencies such as YG Entertainment, SM Entertainment, and JYP. The program wrapped up in July and since then, PENTAGON has been steadily gaining a fan following – and we can see why 😉
For a boy group that’s CUBE Entertainment’s first in 4 whole years, they worked it like pros and look like they are off to a great start! Watch the music video for “Gorilla” below:
