Uh oh, bad news for those living in Hulu Langat. As part of their ongoing effort to improve water distribution system in the Klang Valley, Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Syabas) will be carrying out replacement of pipes next week.
The replacement work will take place from 8pm on 10th May to 3am on 11th May. “Supply will be restored in stages after completion of the work,” Syabas said in a statement.
The 19 areas in Hulu Langat that will experience temporary water interruptions are as follows:
- Taman Industri Selesa Jaya Seri Kembangan
- Taman Industri Balakong Jaya
- Kawasan Perindustrian Balakong
- Taman Impian Ehsan
- Taman Sinaran
- Taman Taming Ria
- Kawasan Perniagaan Desaria Seri Kembangan
- Taman Setia Balakong
- Taman Impian Indah
- Taman Juara Jaya
- Taman Bukit Belimbing
- Taman Seri Belimbing
- Taman Harmoni Indah
- Taman Desa Karunmas
- Taman Putra Budiman
- Taman Balakong Jaya
- Taman Seri Timah
- Taman Tanming Jaya 1 & 2
- Taman Bukit Emas
Residents are advised to store sufficient water for their need during duration of disruption. Bernama reports that emergency water supply would be provided to hospitals, dialysis centres and premises housing the disabled.
