A month ago, we reported that former SNSD Girls’ Generation member Jessica Jung (정수연) will be making her first solo comeback.
Earlier today, her entertainment agency, Coridel Entertainment, confirmed that the singer will make her return to the Korean music industry in May!
“It is true that she will be making a comeback in May. The specific date has yet to be set, but they are in the middle of final preparations for a May comeback. The music video filming and album recordings have already been finished,” said a represetative from Jessica’s label to OSEN reporters.
Recently, the songstress has given fans multiple hints about her musical return and yesterday (Sunday, 17th April), she treated some lucky fans to an exclusive performance of her new solo song at her special birthday fan meeting at Mary Hall, Sogang University.

Jessica Jung left SNSD in September 2014 and officially parted ways with SM Entertainment in August 2015. Aside from preparing for her solo debut, she is also the founder and creative director for Blanc & Eclare, a fashion label that sells eyewear, accessories, and a denim collection.
Although we are dying to listen to her new song, we will wait patiently like every other SONE for its release.
