It has been a while since we’ve heard from Jessica Jung, but the former Girls’ Generation/SNSD member is still very much alive and she has plans to return to the Korean entertainment industry soon.
According to Koreaboo, Jessica told fashion magazine HIGHCUT in a recent interview that she’s planning to make a comeback as a singer.
Jessica did a photo shoot with HIGH CUT and part of her interview with the fashion magazine was released to the public on 3rd December (Thursday).
She told HIGH CUT:
I am currently working on a new album and I want to gift my fans for waiting for me for a long time. I am very excited.
“I never said that I am leaving the entertainment industry. I think life as a celebrity and life as a designer is something I have to juggle well,” she explained.
It’s unclear when she will be making her comeback as further details regarding her comeback are kept under wraps.
Jessica also spoke about her younger sister, Krsytal of f(x), and her own singing activities in the interview with High Cut.
She said:
Krystal and I cheer for each other in each other’s ventures and I get a lot of (design) inspirations from her.
“When I’m making things for my brand, Krystal gives me advice and we discuss things a lot,” she added.
If the plan goes smoothly, Jessica’s upcoming album will mark her first comeback as a singer since leaving K-Pop idol girl group SNSD Girls’ Generation.
