It is a great chance to take striking photographs. The most anticipated balloons at the fiesta includes the replica of the first hot air balloon ever made; La Replica along with different various coloured balloons, such as the adorable yellow jacket bee, alien rocket shape, and the cute lady bug hot air balloon.

2. Enjoy the night with balloons glowing alongside synchronised music

One of the most anticipated attractions of the festival is the “Night Glow” event. All the balloons participating in the festival will “glow” in the radiance of the fire, lighting the balloons to the grooves of today’s popular hits. Make some memories, by bringing back the party kit which includes PIHAB Merchandise t-shirts, lanyard, and the glow sticks to light up the night making it more colourful and lively!

3. A taste of luxury and exclusivity via MYBALLOONCLUB

7. Witness the friendship balloon project

This project is an admirable effort sparked by Ultramagic, a hot air balloon manufacturer based in Spain. Working on the premise that friendship is a “fundamental value for the relationship between people”, it aims is to create a bond between pilots all over the world. The rule of this “handover balloon” is that it will be shared among many different pilots and no one can fly the balloon twice. By the end of its journey, it is with hope that the balloon has reached all corners of the globe and be flown for about 300 – 400 flights. Having recently landed in Malaysia to continue its Asian leg of the journey, the organisers are excited to host the Friendship Balloon at the 8th Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta. Among their local pilots who will be making their flight on the balloon includes veteran balloonist Sobri Saad and the “balloon sisters”, Izzati and Atiqah Khairudin.

8. Fun sports galore for the fitness enthusiasts

There will be many challenging and exciting activities; for the adventure-minded visitors such as paintball, Zorb Ball, Wall Climbing, Inflatable Trampoline, Water Orb, and Archery to keep them on their toes! In addition for the first time in Putrajaya, the reverse bungee jumping will surely be a fun activity for adrenaline seekers out there, as it just propels you to the top! These sport activities are open for everyone and kids can feel free to dominate and enjoy the paddle boats section.

For more information, call 03–9044 0002 or check out the fiesta’s official website or Facebook page. Don’t forget to follow them on Twitter and Instagram too, while you’re at it 🙂
