There was a reason why director Christopher Nolan (of “Inception” and “The Dark Knight” fame) and Matthew McConaughey were spotted at the 2014 San Diego Comic Con (SDCC). Sure, Christopher Nolan might not have a hand in the upcoming “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” flick, but it doesn’t mean that he’s all out of tricks.

In December 2013, official news of his upcoming movie, “Interstellar”, surfaced. The deep-space epic will feature Matthew McConaughey, who plays an astronaut named Cooper. Both him and Anne Hathaway are sent on a space mission to explore a newly discovered wormhole. Will it surpass the limitations on human space travel and expose us to what could possibly be out there? Yes. And that’s the magic of the show, aside from the fact that it’ll be released in IMAX in November.

According to Christopher Nolan, “Interstellar” will have the grandest scope of any film that he has ever made. The previous trailer, released last year, largely showed lead actor Matthew McConaughey down on Earth. While it didn’t immediately spur the interest of diehard Christopher Nolan fans, the new trailer will do just that. Launched via the movie’s official website, it’ll take you out into space and give you a good look at what appears to be another beautiful planet, amongst other “otherworldly” shots.

When it was first revealed, the trailer wasn’t available outside of the website. Even there, it was hidden behind a passcode. To get through, you’ll need to enter the code, “7201969” – the date Apollo 11 landed on the moon.

How’s that for a sci-fi orgasm of sorts?

Luckily, it’s now available right here! Watch:

It’s via the above trailer that we’ve realised that another “The Dark Knight” trilogy star, Michael Caine aka Alfred, is also included in the cast. Christopher Nolan sure loves his Batman cast!

Meanwhile, Mackenzie Foy aka the daughter of Bella Swan and Edward Cullen in “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2” has been casted as Matthew McConaughey’s daughter.

“Interstellar” is expected to hit cinemas on 7th November.
