2 New Drops From Vulcain & Zenith Serve Luxe Vibes For Your Next Adventure

Some watches are made to impress, while others are built to last. Durable timepieces combine ruggedness with style, designed to withstand the elements and stand the test of time.

From nature-inspired models to vintage chronographs, these watches aren’t just about looks – they’re tough, functional, and ready for any adventure.

Vulcain Nautical Legacy Massena LAB

The Vulcain Nautical Legacy Massena Lab is a fresh take on the iconic Cricket Nautical, blending modern aesthetics with vintage-inspired design. This collaboration with Massena Lab takes the original 1961 dive watch and reimagines it as if it were made a decade earlier. With only 25 pieces available, this limited edition is sure to stand out among collectors.

The standout feature is the tropical dial, with a rich chocolate brown colour that shifts in different lighting. It brings a retro vibe to the table, adding a glossy, almost metallic finish to the watch. Plus, the dial retains the decompression scale, a key feature for divers, with the rotating upper plate offering precise timing for underwater safety.

Another exciting addition is the updated handset. Massena Lab swaps the traditional dauphine hands for bold baton-style hour hands, a large arrow minute hand, and a standout arrow-shaped alarm hand. This modern update not only adds a unique twist but also makes the watch highly readable. Plus, the lollipop seconds hand stays true to the original design, adding to its charm.

The case is sturdy and built for adventure, measuring 42mm in diameter and 17.5mm thick. It’s a bit chunky, but it’s designed that way to ensure the watch functions perfectly underwater. The thick case houses the Cricket Alarm Caliber V10, a manually wound movement with a 52-hour power reserve. This movement is capable of powering both the timekeeping and the alarm functions.

G-SHOCK Teams Up With J Balvin For A Bold, Customisable Drop That Hits Different

For added comfort, the watch comes with a custom-designed rubber strap, featuring a discreet Vulcain logo. It’s the perfect balance between style and functionality, whether you’re diving into the ocean or making a statement on dry land.

Ready to dive into exclusive luxury? The Vulcain Nautical Legacy Massena Lab is priced at US$4,950 (RM22,275) and limited to just 25 pieces. Don’t miss out – grab yours now at MassenaLab.com.

Zenith Defy Skyline C.X Edition

The Zenith Defy Skyline C.X Edition is what happens when modern design meets timeless watchmaking. This new limited-edition watch is a collaboration between Zenith and Collective Horology, a group known for their bold and creative takes on timepieces. With only 200 pieces available, this watch is the perfect blend of sleek, industrial style and precise craftsmanship.

At first glance, the C.X Edition stands out with its matte silver-grey dial. The star motif, a signature of the Defy Skyline series, gets a unique twist here. The engravings deepen toward the centre and gradually fade outward, creating a subtle gradient effect that feels elegant and sophisticated. It’s a detail that transforms the dial from ordinary to extraordinary.

Another game-changer is the sandblasted stainless steel case and bracelet. Unlike the polished finishes of the standard Defy Skyline, this matte texture gives the watch a modern, understated look. Even the signature 12-sided bezel gets a fresh treatment, with sandblasted top and middle facets, and just a touch of polish on the sides for contrast.

The small details don’t stop there. The watch has no date window, giving the dial more breathing room, and the tenth-of-a-second indicator subdial has been repositioned to the 6 o’clock spot. The bright orange accents on the subdial and rubber strap add just the right amount of flair to the otherwise monochrome design.

2 New Time-Twisting Drops From Tudor & Amida Flex Bold Colours & Retro-Futuristic Flair

On the wrist, the 41mm case feels substantial but not overwhelming. The integrated bracelet hugs the wrist perfectly, while the orange rubber strap offers a playful alternative. Whether you’re going for a refined look or something more casual, this watch adapts effortlessly.

What sets the Defy Skyline C.X Edition apart is its balance of innovation and style. It’s not just a watch – it’s a statement piece that’s bold yet versatile. Plus, with Zenith’s high-frequency El Primero 3620 movement, you’re getting cutting-edge performance that matches the stunning design.

The Zenith Defy Skyline C.X Edition is priced at US$12,300 (RM55,350) and is available exclusively through Collective Horology and Zenith boutiques. With only 200 pieces made, this is your chance to own a truly unique timepiece.
