In 4 days’ time, TREC’s signature programme A Sunday Affair returns with its 2nd edition on 27th March
Bigger and better, the city’s first music-centric flea market will see Zouk Kuala Lumpur joining the fray this Sunday – with the community of musicians, indie retailers, F&B brands at Electric Boulevard and KL’s well-loved food trucks.
The superclub will have 2 tents – one F&B tent selling drinks, satay and roast lamb, and a lifestyle tent that incorporates a membership recruitment, Zouk KL merchandise (T-shirts @ RM29.90 each), and some 3,000 secondhand vinyls that will also be up for sale.
The 2nd edition of ASA will also see a bigger games element: Zouk KL will have a life-size Jenga, while TREC will have beer pong and there will be vintage retro games from the good ol’ Atari, Nintendo, and Playstation 1 at Electric Boulevard.
Bittersweet will be ASA’s headlining act. Showing up on stage in well-fitted, colour-coordinated suits, they whip up a good blend to the likes of the British rock bands. They will be joined by ASA’s curators LapSap (Blink & Xu) and some of Malaysia’s most gifted musicians – Froya; +2dB; Tubby; Jee Hoe; Irama and MMMeng.
Besides live entertainment, there will be lots to do and see. Food for one, will be in abundance, from the F&B brands at Electric Boulevard to the mobile food trucks and Zouk KL. And shopping is a big thing at ASA. Indie retailers will present their latest collection in pop-up stalls along Electric Boulevard.
