This festive season, superclub Zouk KL is game up for a big celebration ver. 8-bit. Paying homage to the origins of console games and pixel art, the original 8-bit entourage of characters will come alive in 2 instalments on 24th and 31st December.
Forget the predictable Christmas and festive themes! Following Zouk KL’s recent StarFunk Theme Party, the superclub is moving into the 8-bit world – when Nintendo brought gaming back in a big, big way – a renaissance period that produced some of the most iconic video games ever created.
On 24th and 31st December, some of these characters – Mario, Pacman, Luigi, Donkey Kong – alongside Santa and his Santarinas will come alive as Zouk KL transforms into an a super arcade where its club’s exterior and its rooms will be decked in an 8-bit fashion.
