Drop everything because Bingo Players is coming to town!
Originally a duo consisting of Dutchmen Maarten Hoogstraten and Paul Bäumer, Bingo Players was reduced to a one-man act when Paul passed away in late 2013 after a battle with cancer.
Maarten continues to play on through Paul’s last wish, and has managed to keep the flame alive for the act that produced the 2011 smash hit “Cry (Just a Little)”.
In early 2014 Bingo Players released “Knock You Out”. “Knock You Out” became the group’s first #1 on the US dance chart. Featuring the lyrics, “My fight is won, Who needs a gun, Boom-boom, Knock you out”, it is considered to be a tribute to Bäumer and his struggle with cancer.
