Chinese actress Zhang Ziyi, 36, and her husband, Chinese rock musician Wang Feng, 44, recently celebrated their baby’s 1-month-old birthday. Zhang even revealed that her newborn daughter’s name is Xing Xing.
In a photo posted on her Sina Weibo account, Zhang wrote, “Hello, mummy and daddy’s friends. I am little Xing Xing. I am a month old today! I spent the afternoon playing and now I’m going for a nap, bye bye!”
Zhang dated Wang for a year and a half before her rocker beau got down on one knee and proposed to the actress during her birthday party on 7th February 2015. The couple reportedly got married in Hong Kong last May and Zhang gave birth to their first child together in the United States just 2 days after Christmas.
Many of Zhang’s fans on Weibo sent their blessings to her baby girl, praising her adorable cute legs as “those of an aspiring dancer”, drawing reference to Zhang’s dancing background in her early years.
The first-time mum also shared photos of Xing Xing’s pink birthday cake (with decorations of a ribbon bow, a pair of shoes, a baby bottle, and a cute baby cloth) surrounded by pink cupcakes as well as adorable snacks she had prepared for her daughter’s birthday party. Yum!
The Chinese character for Xing (醒) means awake. Hmm… Does it mean little Xing Xing has been keeping mummy and daddy awake all night every night?
