It’s been awhile since content creator duo Sugu Pavithra made headlines. If you remember, the couple became a household name during MCO following the success of their joint cooking channel on YouTube. The Ipoh-born personality even graced the cover of a local magazine, leaving the public in awe of her stunning transformation.
However, things took an unexpected turn after Sugu was arrested following allegations that he had physically abused his wife. After the drama went viral, both Pavithra and her husband made the decision to stay away from the spotlight. Not to mention, they’re no longer actively posting cooking videos on their YouTube channel. Since then, a lot of people have been wondering what the married couple have been up to recently.
The matter was brought to light by a Twitter user named @skyflyingace. “What happen to her? Her last video was uploaded about a year ago. I thought they relied fully on YouTube for their income? I am sure she still has many more recipes to share,” the netizen questioned.
Netizens have taken to the replies space to leave their own speculations regarding Sugu Pavithra’s disappearance. “Her husband got too jealous, so she stopped making videos,” one commenter on Twitter claimed. Another commenter argued, “They didn’t really have a plan in place. They rose up to fame quite fast. Thereafter personal family issues that they couldn’t sort & I reckon they just moved on with their lives.”
