Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s “Black Adam” will hit Malaysian cinemas this week and fans are eager to watch the DC antihero character in action. If you didn’t know, the character was originally written to be the villain in “Shazam!” until producers decided that he should have his standalone movie.
Some fans were fortunate enough to get their hands on some early screening passes to watch “Black Adam” a day before its nationwide premiere on 20th October. One Facebook user is apparently giving away 1 extra pass to watch the movie with her, but there’s a catch.
A Facebook user, who we will refer to as Miss Cheang, recently posted on the Buy Nothing Project (BNP) Klang Valley & PJ group saying that she’s giving away one “Black Adam” screening pass to watch the movie together with her on 19th October at Sunway Velocity Mall. However, she will need the person to pick her up and send her back home later. Simple right? But wait, there’s actually more.
Other than picking her up and sending her back home after the movie, there are other things one must, or in this case, must not, do during the movie. Her conditions are:
- Do not use your phone (scrolling, texting, surfing, or answering calls)
- Do not shake your legs
- Do not leave the cinema before post-credit scenes
- Do not discuss what’s happening in the movie
Some would find these requests too demanding, especially if you are a comic book enthusiast who may not be able to control your excitement when watching the movie. However, netizens in the comments section don’t seem to mind Miss Cheang’s conditions at all, although one person found the whole thing suspicious saying that it could be “a setup for a robbery”.
As of right now, we have no info if anyone in the Facebook group has agreed to her requests to go watch “Black Adam” together but if there is then we hope they will enjoy themselves. Would you say yes to this date?
