‘Tis the season of comebacks!
PSY announced his comeback, TWICE dropped several teaser images for “Signal”, and now, VIXX has joined them. The idol group announced their 4th mini album “Paradise On Earth (도원경)” (English working title) via a teaser image on their social media platforms.
The teaser image was released at midnight today (Tuesday, 2nd May). The boys were not shown on the image, which contained the Chinese characters “桃源境” plastered in the center. Oriental markings and calligraphy prints were also featured heavily on the teaser.
Sadly, the group did not inform fans of the release date, as the post was accompanied by the message “COMING SOON” only.
However, the group will be previewing their songs to fans at their solo concert “VIXX Live Fantasia – Daydream” from 12th to 14th May.
2017 marks VIXX’s 5th year in the industry, but their careers hasn’t always been this successful. Prior to their debut, the group had to join the survival reality show “MyDol”. Out of the 10 participants, only 6 made it to the final lineup. They finally made their debut in May 2012 with “Super Hero”, but had to struggle for a few years before gaining a stable fandom.
