A 14-year-old Cambodian boy named Thaksin recently went viral online when Malaysian travel blogger Venus Gwc posted a recorded video of him speaking more than 10 languages.
Multiples sites reported that Thaksin can speak as many as 15 languages including Mandarin, Cantonese, Filipino, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Malay, and Thai. Now that this talented kid has become an internet sensation, more people are interested to know more about him.
It was recently that the young teen and his family will be getting a sponsored trip to Beijing, China. During the upcoming trip, Thaksin is expected to showcase his linguistic abilities to a larger audience following several scheduled interviews.
Of all the languages, the Cambodian is reportedly most fond of Mandarin and wishes to attend a musical while in Beijing. Talent seems to run in the family. His 11-year-old brother, Tol Tithyya, can apparently speak 11 languages and also enjoys Mandarin.
