Influencer Aisar Khaled may be generous when it comes to helping people in need as he previously gifted a foodpanda rider with a brand-new motorcycle but he also doesn’t have the best reputation as a public figure. It looks like the TikToker got caught up in another controversy after a viewer accused him of not being clear with his iPhone giveaway during his recent livestream.
Over the weekend, a woman posted a video on TikTok to unbox a gift she received from Aisar Khaled which she claimed to be an iPhone 15. She gave the context that she was one of the earliest customers who bought the influencer’s perfume during his livestream. “He said that the first 30 customers will receive a free iPhone 15 so I wanted to see if he really meant that,” she said.

Unfortunately for the young woman, the package she received did not contain the Apple product but instead held 2 boxes of his perfumes and a letter that read: “Apologies but you may have not been lucky during the live stream but don’t worry, you still have a chance to win a motorcycle and RM50 by being one of the 500 selected viewers with the most unique feedback.”
The woman then accused the influencer of not being clear with his terms and conditions during his livestream. “He should’ve said that one or a few out of the 30 earliest customers who bought his perfume would receive an iPhone. I bought these perfumes to see if Aisar was telling the truth,” said the disappointed business owner.
The woman then proceeded to say that she doesn’t necessarily care about not getting an iPhone as she currently owns one but felt the need to advise the influencer to be clearer with his giveaways. “I’m not saying you’re not honest, Aisar, but as a seller myself, you should not fool your customers into buying your products with the hope that they’ll get something in return,” she said.

The post went viral on both TikTok and Twitter with many calling Aisar Khaled a scammer. Some said that there’s no point in believing anything the influencer says in his videos or livestreams while others thanked the woman for exposing Aisar’s alleged scam.
According to The Vocket, this was not the first time Aisar was accused of lying about his giveaways as many previously called him out, claiming that no one had received the gift(s) he promised. Meanwhile, the 23-year-old content creator has been posting videos of him giving away iPhones to his followers around Malaysia and has not addressed the recent allegations made against him.
