Earlier this week, a video of a Foodpanda rider went viral all over social media. The video showed the employee having no choice but to walk all the way home after his motorcycle was confiscated by the Road Transport Department (JPJ) officers.
Many wanted to find a way to help the poor man, including influencer Aisar Khaled and it looks like they all succeeded in identifying who the rider was.
Content creator Aisar Khaled, who is known to have caused quite a number of controversies in the past, decided to do what he could to help a Foodpanda rider with his ordeal after the video of him walking home went viral on social media.
In his video posted yesterday (Wednesday, 13th September) on his Instagram, Aisar managed to find the Foodpanda employee from the viral video with the help of netizens. The video showed the 23-year-old visiting the man who goes by Syahrul at his home. When asked about what actually happened, Syahrul explained that it was his fault that his motorcycle was confiscated since the road tax had expired.
The influencer then invited the rider to follow him to a motorcycle shop where he then surprised him with a brand new motorcycle. The rider was obviously emotional and hugged the TikToker for helping him during this tough time. However, that wasn’t the only thing he received as Aisar also surprised him with a large amount of RM50 notes before the rider went off to work.
The video received mostly positive reactions from netizens and fellow creators who praised Aisar for his generosity. A few, however, were concerned if the rider now has to pay for 2 road taxes since he was gifted with a new motorcycle. Some replied to those comments saying that they have faith that Syahrul will find a way to solve his problems and that he’s still grateful someone actually stepped forward to help him.
We’re glad that the Foodpanda rider can now go back to work thanks to Aisar’s help. May good fortune continue to come his way.
