Most people can only dream of having a superstar perform at their wedding. Some go to great lengths to make that dream a reality, while others are fortunate enough to have the artist offer to perform. Earlier this year, while rumours were still circulating about her relationship with actor Fattah Amin, singer Amira Othman playfully asked Biduanita Negara Dato Sri Siti Nurhaliza during a livestream if she would sing at her wedding one day.
The icon cheerfully replied that she would, if the opportunity arose. Now, that day may well be approaching, as word is spreading that Siti Nurhaliza could be performing at the couple’s upcoming wedding ceremony. Here’s the story:
Fattah Amin’s manager, Sakirin Shak, better known as Aca, recently hosted a livestream on TikTok. What he likely didn’t expect was that, at one point during the broadcast, Siti Nurhaliza tuned in and even sent him a Live Gift. At first, he was in disbelief that it was truly the singer herself, but soon expressed his excitement at having her as part of his audience.
“Tokti, are you coming for the solemnisation, or would you prefer to attend the wedding ceremony later?,” he asked the star, referring to Fattah Amin and Amira Othman tying the knot soon. As seen in the screenshots above, fans flooded the live chat with requests for the legend to perform at the wedding. Aca even remarked that he would call Siti’s manager, Kak Rosie, to see if it could be arranged.
Aca went on to express his confidence that Siti Nurhaliza would indeed perform at the wedding, noting how supportive she has been of the celebrity couple’s relationship. “Of course she’ll perform — there’s no way to describe just how humble she is,” he said. While nothing has been confirmed, there is a strong chance that the singer will perform at the ceremony, or at the very least attend, as she had previously expressed her willingness to do so when Amira invited her during a livestream earlier this year.
