In a completely different sphere, Azfar Heri is a comedic influencer who made his name through online cooking videos.
Bringing two pretty different worlds together, Syed Saddiq and Azfar Heri had brunch together, recently! The surprising news was shared by the influencer through a TikTok video which garnered over 18 thousand views in less than a day.

The video starts with Azfar telling his audience that he is about to have lunch, without saying with whom. That’s why it’s surprising when he finally lifts the phone to reveal that it’s none other than Syed Saddiq! The duo had apparently met for the first time just the day before.
Along with the video, the caption says, “Planned yesterday, today we immediately met. It was really nice to meet you in person! Thank you for sharing, (because) we both learned something new! Very casual and friendly, (I’m) tired from laughing. Hahaha. Catch up soon.”
Scrolling through the TikTok comments, we found that even Syed Saddiq himself commented, saying that he kept getting laughed at by Azfar when talking about badminton. Many netizens were shocked to see the young politician talking and behaving so casually – like a normal youngster! Many said they’d never heard the Muar MP use common street slang like “Weh”, or referring to someone else as “Kau” instead of “Awak”.
It’s amusing to read the comments of netizens, who were cracking jokes about the duo. But despite everything, their lovely interaction was a delight for all! We hope they become closer friends in the future!
