Earlier this week, social media was abuzz after a video of a woman opening up about her mom’s relationship with her ex-boyfriend went viral. The lady, known as Nanda Berliana, revealed on her TikTok that she had decided to give in, and approved of her mother’s marriage with her former lover.
Through the video, the Indonesian native stated that she was willing to give in for her mom’s sake. “It’s better to let go for the sake of your parents’ happiness (Their words not mine),” Nanda captioned her post. At the time of writing (Thursday, 5th January), the TikTok clip has amassed a whopping 16 million views!
In addition, Nanda also shared a video of her attending her mom’s wedding with her ex. She was all smiles as she posed for a selfie with the bride and groom. However, later in the video, we could see the TikToker bawling her eyes out, seemingly feeling heartbroken. “Who else can I trust to be my husband?” Nanda questioned.
The video was met with plenty of reactions from netizens. Many netizens left uplifting comments towards Nanda, and encouraged her to stay strong. “Keep up the spirit sis, I’m sure you are strong,” one netizen told her. “Be patient,” another TikTok user added. Not to mention, there were also a few others who put the mother on blast for apparently stealing her lover.
