Recently, another member of the popular girl group was subjected to similar gossip, where some claimed she was secretly seeing a politician.
A now-deleted video circulated on social media showed a woman, believed to be Sabronzo, meeting up with a man in a suit before entering an unspecified building. During an interview with the media backstage at the Konsert Jiwa Malaysia 2024 event over the weekend, the singer set the record straight regarding the trending clip.
After watching the viral TikTok post herself, Sabronzo clarified that the woman in the video is not her. “I’ve actually never seen this video but sorry – actually not sorry – to break it to you but that is not me. I don’t have any connections with any politicians in Malaysia. I’ve just been doing my thing with DOLLA,” she stated. The Malaysian singer insisted that she’s currently focusing on her music career to be dating anyone.
However, she shared that she would not deny it if she were to be in a relationship with someone in the future. “As for how people thought that was me, I think it’s probably because they think we have similar styles even though I don’t really dress like that. That’s just the internet for you,” she told reporters. Scrolling through the comments section of the interview video, fans showed support for the DOLLA members saying that the girls do not owe anyone any explanation about their private lives, even if the rumours were true.
Some criticised those who started the rumours for clout while others were curious to know more about the aforementioned unnamed politician. Sadly, there has been no information on who Sabronzo’s supposed “boyfriend” was.
Meanwhile, fans have also complained about DOLLA’s set at the Konsert Jiwa Malaysia 2024 event being too short – where the trio performed only 3 songs. Member Tabby addressed those complaints, explaining that they were only given a specific duration to perform for the concert but reassured that the group will have a longer set for the upcoming Borneo Sonic Music Festival this October.
