National songstress Dato’ Sri Siti Nurhaliza continues receiving recognition for her contributions to music and business. The beloved star recently received a special Lifetime Achievement Award, highlighting her success throughout the years.
On 26th November 2025 (Wednesday), Siti Nurhaliza attended the AFFIN INVIKTA Top50 Women of Excellence Awards 2025 Gala Night in Kuala Lumpur. The event honours high-performing women who have contributed to Malaysia’s development and global reputation. Besides being named one of the 50 Women of Excellence, the singer was also honoured with the special Lifetime Achievement Award.
Reacting to her latest accolade, Siti Nurhaliza said, “I’m grateful for this award. I hope it will inspire women out there, because women today are no longer confined to the kitchen or childcare. Many women are now at the forefront and in leadership roles. When awards recognise the amazing women of Malaysia, it can inspire them to continue standing tall and contribute to the country.”
During the event, the singer also performed with actress-singer Bella Astillah, singing one of Siti Nurhaliza’s hit songs, “Bukan Cinta Biasa”. According to news reports, the performance was an impromptu request from the organiser. Through an Instagram Stories post, Bella gushed about performing with the Malaysian icon, saying, “Sharing a song with Malaysia’s sweetheart. My heart is still so full.”
Bella was also one of the 50 women awarded at the prestigious event. Among the other honourees are Academy Award-winning actress Michelle Yeoh, singer Dato’ Sheila Majid, physician Dr Amalina Bakri and Olympic-medalist Pandelela Rinong. Meanwhile, national women’s doubles badminton pair Pearly Tan and Thinaah Muralitharan received the Rising Star Award, a new category introduced at this year’s edition.
