It’s obvious that celebrities appreciate their fans and are thankful for their support and adoration. However, there have been plenty of horror stories where idols’ privacy has been invaded. 2PM’s Taecyeon and Chansung previously opened up about the time a group of sasaengs broke into their hotel room in Singapore while they were sleeping.
An incident where a fan infiltrated a celeb’s hotel room is terrifying enough but it’s even more bone-chilling when they manage to let themselves in an idol’s own house. That’s exactly what happened to former TXVQ member Kim Jae-joong (김재중), monomously known as Jaejoong. Here’s the story:

Yesterday (Thursday, 27th June), THEBOYZ’s Younghoon (김영훈) appeared as a guest host on the latest episode of Jaejoong’s YouTube show “Jaefriends”. In this special episode, the 38-year-old was interviewed by his junior and the two idols mostly talked casually like friends catching up on each other’s lives. However, one part of the interview sent chills down everyone’s spine.
Younghoon was curious about his senior’s experiences with sasaengs since he’s been in the business for over two decades. The “Breaking Dawn” singer revealed 2 incidents where these obsessed fans broke into his home. “I received a message from an unknown number and it was a photo of me from behind at that exact moment,” he said. After looking around, he later discovered that the fan had left his house before sending the photo.
If that wasn’t terrifying enough, Jaejoong shared that there was a time a sasaeng kissed him in his sleep which left both the guest host and crew members in shock. “The girl was caught at my home and if that were to happen today, she would’ve gone to jail,” he added, indicating that the fan was probably let off with a warning at the time.

The two incidents has left the idol traumatised and paranoid as he would often scan his surroundings to make sure he wasn’t being watched or followed. The singer then explained how grateful he is for fellow singer IU (아이유) as she has always taken legal action against those who have crossed the line, which made other idols felt inspired to do the same to protect their safety.
