Hari Raya is just around the corner, and there are plenty of bazaar events for everyone to do some last-minute shopping in preparation for the celebrations. One of these events was the STARVENDORS KL MEGA RAYA FEST 2025 at the KL Base Exhibition Centre. From 21st to 24th March, shoppers have been enjoying the festival non-stop so far.
With that in mind, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that the vendors and entertainers would be exhausted from attending to customers and attendees all day long. Singer-actress Ifa Raziah, who is the CEO of StarVendors Event Sdn Bhd, appeared to have overworked herself and unfortunately passed out at one point during the festival. Here’s what happened:
On Sunday (23rd March), Ifa Raziah reportedly fainted at the STARVENDORS KL MEGA RAYA FEST 2025 at around 1 am due to exhaustion and unstable blood pressure. The star was scheduled for an interview with the media when she suddenly collapsed and was rushed to the hospital. According to reports, the 49-year-old had shown signs of feeling unwell throughout the day but pushed through to ensure the festival ran smoothly.
At one point during the day, medics attended to the CEO in one of the holding rooms to check her vitals after she started feeling unwell. “What can I do? StarVendors has to go on. It’s an 80-hour event! I didn’t sleep, I didn’t eat, even my voice is gone now,” she told her team, who scolded her for not taking care of herself.
A video later surfaced showing the singer vomiting before resuming her work. Sadly, she passed out moments later while preparing for the media interview at the venue. An ambulance was then seen transporting Ifa Raziah to the nearest hospital for further treatment.
Her husband, Mohd Yani Abdul Rahman, updated reporters on her condition, saying, “Upon arriving at the hospital, the doctor informed us that her blood pressure was high, reaching 170. They recommended that she be admitted for further observation. For now, we’ll follow the doctor’s advice and focus on her recovery first.”
Thankfully, Ifa seems to be doing much better, as a few of her celebrity friends visited her at the hospital. We wish her a speedy recovery and hope she takes it easy and doesn’t overwork herself in the future.
