As the night approaches, fans prepare to witness singer Henry Lau (刘宪华/헨리) take the stage at the New Year’s Eve Countdown Party at The Exchange TRX. However, for some fans, the excitement began yesterday when the star arrived at Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
The former Super Junior-M member arrived at KLIA on 30th December 2024 (Monday) and was welcomed by a group of his adoring fans. Many waited hours to see Henry as he made his way through the airport gates. Unsurprisingly, the fans greeted him with enthusiasm and began handing the star gifts like plush toys and letters. However, the most interesting figure amidst the crowd was a fan dressed as the adorable cartoon character Snoopy.
As shown in photos and videos, the fan wore a suit of the anthropomorphic beagle whilst eagerly waiting for Henry’s arrival. As the public figure exited the VIP lounge, the fan excitedly greeted him while holding on to a hand fan with Henry’s image and a couple of gifts for the star. Unfortunately, the fan behind the Snoopy suit remains unknown, but it’s believed the idea was the brainchild of Henry’s dedicated fanbase.
For those unfamiliar, Henry is nicknamed Snoopy due to his resemblance to the character, so it’s understood that the fan dressed as the beagle as a reference to this nickname. Interestingly, this isn’t the first time “Snoopy” met Henry because they also greeted the singer in the Snoopy suit when he visited KL in 2023. The 35-year-old has acknowledged the fan’s dedication, even sharing a photo of them on his social media.
Many have since praised the fan’s creative way of greeting Henry at the airport. We also commend the devoted fan for their hard work, and we hope they will enjoy the singer’s performance at The Exchange TRX later tonight.
