It’s no surprise that a superstar like G-Dragon (지드래곤) attracts a lot of famous fans. However, a fancam from his recent “Übermensch” concert in Hong Kong shows that even billionaires’ daughters are fond of the singer.
Last weekend, G-Dragon performed a three-day concert at the AsiaWorld-Arena in Hong Kong. The show was a huge success with thousands of fans, including Sabrina Ho (何超盈) and Laurinda Ho (何超莲), daughters of the late casino magnate Stanley Ho (何鴻燊). While they posted on social media, netizens only began noting their appearance after a fancam surfaced.
A few days after the concert, a fancam video from the concert was posted onto Chinese social media. While the fancam was focused on G-Dragon as he walked beside the crowd, the video accidentally captured Sabrina and Laurinda, wearing black and white caps, respectively, standing at the rock zone. Notably, the two public figures were standing by the barricade, which made them stand out more in the fancam. The video then went viral, sparking a heated debate.
Many fans were surprised to learn that Sabrina and Laurinda were fans of G-Dragon, noting that it’s a testament to the star’s popularity. Some argued that the BIGBANG member had seemingly interacted with the two during his performance, which led netizens to wonder if he knew who the sisters were. However, some also lamented that Sabrina and Laurinda may have pushed their way to the front after one netizen revealed that they entered the venue late.
Interestingly, Sabrina and Laurinda aren’t the only famous faces at the concert. Some netizens revealed that Hong Kong actresses Charmaine Sheh (佘诗曼), Angela Tong (汤盈盈), Janet Chow (周家蔚), and Annie Man (文颂娴) also attended one of the three shows. However, the four were at the seating area rather than the rock zones. Since the four are known to be part of the same friend group, some fans quipped that it was a girls’ night out for them.
