When planning a dream wedding, you’ll think of every aspect, from the venue to the date. Of course, you’ll also think about your guests and what would make the event more enjoyable for them. This couple decided to rent a coffee truck for their guests, but not just any coffee truck – Starbucks!

As shared on TikTok by one of the wedding guests, Syafika, this newlywed couple rented a Starbucks coffee truck for their guests. In the video, tons of guests were queuing up, eagerly waiting for their drinks, and even the bride and groom were mingling with their Starbucks drinks in hand.

Since the brand is known to be rather pricey, one might wonder how much it cost to rent a Starbucks truck for an event, but according to the groom, the cost was only around RM14,000. In an interview with local media, Azuana Zulkiflee shared that it was always his dream to have a Starbucks vendor at his wedding as he was a former Starbucks barista and an avid collector of the brand’s tumblers.

He added that he preordered 700 cups of Java Chip Frappucinos and Chocolate Cream Frappucinos for the reception in Selangor but revealed he also gave out coupons as there were more guests than anticipated. The groom shared that the wedding also included vendors serving local fares like char kuey teow, apam balik and keropok lekor.

As for the reactions to Syafika’s TikTok video, many were excited at the sight of a Starbucks truck and understandably jealous of the lucky wedding guests. Some even joked that they could only afford the typical rose syrup drink, or air sirap, for their wedding.

It seems like Azuana managed to make his dream come true and make his wedding memorable for the guests. So, if you’re planning for a wedding, why not take a page out of his book and rent a coffee truck as well?
