(Video) Local Man Left Hotel In Perak 20 Mins After Checking In Due To “Paranormal Disturbances”

Whether you believe in the paranormal or not, people would prefer to avoid anywhere that’s considered haunted. A netizen once shared his experience of renting a house where he experienced supernatural disturbances and prior to that, a Hong Kong celeb even shared his ghostly encounter when he visited Malaysia.

A few days ago, a local fisherman posted a TikTok video which was then shared on the @malaysianupdatenews channel. The man claimed that the hotel he stayed in was supposedly haunted. Watch:

As shown in the video above, it looks like the hotel he booked to stay the night was the Bukit Merah Laketown Resort in Perak. He suspected that there was something off about the premises as soon as he entered. “I’ll most likely get disturbed tonight, I’m sure of it,” he said while laughing nervously.

The video showed that there were no other guests in the area and that the man had the whole building to himself. Things already looked spooky when he entered the extremely dim-lighted lobby. His room was located at the end of a dark hallway. Everything seemed fine when he reached his room but unfortunately, strange things started happening a few minutes later.

The man claimed that he heard knocking on his door, and the bathroom curtains moving by themselves until the Azan for the Magrib prayer was heard from outside. As soon as the Azan stopped, the disturbances resumed so the fisherman decided to record the paranormal activities. Unfortunately, nothing came up as soon as he hit record on his phone. “I haven’t even finished settling in yet and already too much has happened,” he said as he was packing up his stuff.

He also claimed to have seen an entity as soon as the lift door closed when he was on his way down to the lobby. The man spent less than 30 minutes inside the hotel before he decided to check out and leave. “I’m not here to expose anyone of anything but sometimes you have to remove yourself from certain situations so that you can get peace of mind,” the man said before driving off.

As seen in the screenshots above, some netizens were familiar with the hotel and shared their similar experience of staying the night there. Others were confused as to why there were no staff members seen throughout the whole video. We may never get the answer to these, but after this story went viral, would you dare to stay there alone for the night?
